The Inventors Groups of America along with the Inventor’s Project hosted A Day on Capitol Hill for 40 Inventors and Innovators from around the country. They spent the day meeting with their Members and Senators of Congress talking about innovation. In the afternoon Congressman Thomas Massie kicked off a briefing about three pro-inventor bills.
After Congressman Massie’s introduction, the event proceeded with a series of detailed presentations and discussions. Experts in intellectual property law, patent reform, and innovation policy shared insights on the critical role that these pro-inventor bills play in safeguarding the interests of inventors. The attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful dialogue with policymakers, ensuring that their voices and concerns were heard. This interactive session underscored the importance of collaboration between lawmakers and the inventing community to foster an environment conducive to innovation and creativity.
The day concluded with a networking reception where inventors and innovators could connect with each other and with members of Congress in a more informal setting. This provided a valuable platform for building relationships and exchanging ideas. Many participants expressed their gratitude for the chance to advocate for their rights.
